A “Network of Excellence” funded via the ecu Commission’s 6th Framework application, CoreGRID, goals to bolster and improve medical and technological excellence within the sector of Grid and Peer-to-Peer applied sciences by means of bringing jointly a severe mass of well-established researchers from forty-one ecu learn institutions.
Achievements in eu learn on Grid Systems covers, even though isn't restricted to, the subsequent issues: wisdom and knowledge administration; programming types; approach structure; Grid info, source and workflow tracking prone; source administration and scheduling; platforms, instruments and environments; belief and safeguard concerns at the Grid.
Designed for a certified viewers of practitioners and researchers, Achievements in eu learn on Grid Systems can be appropriate for advanced-level scholars in laptop science.

In this paper we discus the steps that we have to follow to integrate the eNANOS execution environment into the GRMS infrastructure, developed by PSNC. In particular we are interested in the mechanisms to allow the integration of the different components and how to use the information provided by eNANOS to improve the scheduling strategies in the GRMS system. Keywords: Grid resource management, scheduling strategies, application performance, eNANOS, GRMS. ∗ This work has been supported by the CoreGRID European Network of Excellence (FP6-004265) and by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Technology under contract TIN2004-07739-C02-01.
